WHAT WE BELIEVE
PRAISE
Praise is the action of boasting about the Lord to each other. At Harvest we believe that Praise is “horizontal,” meaning that we are communicating to one another in the goodness of God. Praise is a necessary action to take in the body of Christ, as it edifies us and unifies us in agreement with the greatness of our God.
WORSHIP
Worship is the outward expression of the internal love for the Lord. Worship, contrastingly to praise, is “vertical” or directly to God. Giving Him thanks for who he is directly.
EXPRESSION
We believe that Praise and Worship is an inward and outward expression. We believe in the physical expression of singing, dancing, shouting, clapping our hands, and lifting our hands. All to give glory to God.
